Operating the Signalex Universal Remote Control

The Signalex Universal Remote Control was sold for an extended period in U.K. Poundland stores. It can be bought online from other sources. The first batches of controls included a usage leaflet and a broadsheet codes list. The codes list has been missing from later batches and this has led to a demand for an online code list. I provide such a list here, together with a summary of the instructions. Though U.S.A. makes are included, the Signalex Universal Remote Control has been aimed at the European market.

The Signalex Universal Remote Control appears to have been made by Chunghop but does not use their usual codes. It is well made and considerable attention has been paid to assigning key codes to their expected keys. The device keys comprise TV, VCR, DVD, SKY, AUX, CABLE, HIFI and TNT. Satellite codes are included with cable.
